Job Description / Responsibility
- Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) has been operating a project titled 'Fael Khair Agro Inputs Program' in collaboration with Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to rehabilitate the cyclone 'Sidr' affected people in the southern part of Bangladesh in the form of training and finance (interest free loan). IBF is looking for self-profiled professional with initiative and drive for the social development of the distressed and vulnerable people for the following position in Fael Khair Agro Inputs Program at Head Office, Dhaka.
- The incumbent will be responsible to:
- provide training to the beneficiaries on agriculture, livestock and fishery at the field level by engaging experienced professionals and trainers
- develop training materials,
- supervision and monitoring training
- travel to the field level for ensuring training to the beneficiaries
- conduct impact evaluation and various research related to the program
- prepare quarterly progress report and annual report
- prepare and present/deliver power point presentation
- identify and implement capacity building training activities to enhance skills and knowledge
- prepare and logistic planning for various events, e.g. conference, workshop and external meetings with clients and donors
- maintain and establish linkages/collaboration with related programs and project
- build strong linkages with the media to share project innovations and achievements
- provide back up support to other staff in the office
- undertake other duties as assigned from time to time.

Educational Requirements
- 4 years Bachelor degree with Masters preferably in Agriculture, English, Public Administration, Economics, Journalism, Development Studies and Social Science from any reputed public university.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum two years practical experience in providing training and conducting research work in private and public sector.
- Candidates must have excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Bengali, good computer literacy, high level of interpersonal skill, excellent report writing skill, ability to develop and deliver good presentation and interested to travel to the field level for ensuring training to the beneficiaries.
- Age Range: 30 to 35 years as on 30-06-2015.
