Job Description / Responsibility
- The Information Security Professional is a member of UCB`s Information Security Team. The role requires a variety of skills and experience across numerous Information Security functional areas: Compliance & Risk Management, Threat & Vulnerability Management, Security Operations & Incident Management and Security Engineering. This is a high profile position that requires broad technical and security expertise, business experience and the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex security topics and best practices to all levels of IT security management.
- PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.......................
- Perform IT security functions, to include: developing, implementing and maintaining technical configuration baselines and security standards.
- Provide security engineering support for end-points, networks, systems and applications, to include: analyzing, selecting / recommending and coordinating the installation of security solutions.
- Work with UCB IT personnel to consultatively provide technical security advice and best practice recommendations.
- Administer and maintain a variety of security tools, to include: content filtering / web proxy, malware detection / protection tools, identity / access control tools, etc.
- Manage an enterprise infrastructure vulnerability management program, to include: maintaining vulnerability scanning tools, schedules, reports and remediation tracking.
- Manage an enterprise threat management program, to include: establishment of automated threat feeds into a central repository, conducting threat research and detailed analyses, updating controls based on threat intelligence and delivering threat reports at all levels.
- Be a member of the Incident Response team with responsibilities including: periodically being on-call, responding to incidents by containing, eradicating and recovering from incidents, conducting forensic investigations and performing root cause analyses.
- Complete risk assessments of various types (e.g.., systems, suppliers, etc.) and manage the remediation of any identified issues.
- Provide recommendations for correct approach and strategy where security gaps exist or inadequate tools or processes are found, all within a reasonable balance between security, cost, and productivity.
- Self-manage security-related projects and initiatives.
- Follow Bank policy with regard to internal controls as well as complies with Bangladesh Bank Guideline to ensure that the employee and the company act legally and with the highest standards of compliance, ethics and integrity.

Educational Requirements
- Candidates should have 4 years graduation in CSE/ EEE/ B.Sc in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Information Security/ Telecommunication from UGC approved reputed University minimum 2nd class/equivalent result.
- Preferred Certification/ Training: CEH, ISO 27001-2, ITIL, PCI-DSS

- At least 7 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
- 7+ years of technical IT experience in end-points, systems, networks and enterprise applications.
- 4+ years experience in a security-related position in a Bank`s IT environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Information Security technologies including hardware and software security solutions for end-points, networks, systems and applications.
- Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
- Works well in a fast growing environment with the ability to deliver on time.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and demands dictated by business and IT requirements.
- Proficiency in Bangla and English reading/ writing.
- Ability to motivate successful team behavior.
