Job Description / Responsibility
  • DWDM project (WDM/SDH) delivery.
  • Assisting site survey for DWDM within country.
  • Assisting DWDM network design, installation and commissioning.
  • PAT for DWDM equipment and service, including test cases with tester(OSA, Ethernet tester, optical power meter etc.)
  • DWDM (WDM/SDH) product/network maintenance, troubleshooting and network optimization.
  • WDM/SDH network design, relevant product documentation etc.
  • Troubleshoot and work with experts to solve operator live network problem.

Educational Requirements
    Minimum Bachelor degree in CSE/ EEE/ ETE/ Business Administration or related field of study, MBA would be preferred as added qualification.
Experience Requirements
    At least 5 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
  • At least 5+ years working experience in ICT industry or leading telecom industry.
  • Good understanding of WDM/SDH theory, fiber, OSNR, dispersion, PMD etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Datacom (VLAN, MPLS, L2/L3 switch/routers, VPN).
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Visio is a plus.
  • Have experience in using optical spectrum analyzer, Ethernet tester and other ordinary meters is a plus.
  • Understanding architecture and solution of transmission, mobile backhaul.
  • Experience in installation, problem diagnosis, and maintenance of full range telecommunication equipment including Carrier Ethernet, DWDM, and MPLS.
  • Ability to perform fiber characterization testing of fiber spans to provide pass/fail acceptance documentation including OTDR testing and wavelength test and turn-up on 40 channel 100+Gbps DWDM systems.
  • Ability to work closely with OSP, Engineering and Network Operations groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Inside Plant – Power, cabling, etc..
