  • Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
  • In this role, you will:
  • Maintain and enhance operational effectiveness by processing, checking and approving trade transactions of respective unit and ensure minimal error
  • Ensure customer service of the highest quality for target customer segments
  • Position the bank as the Trade Bank of choice for our customers and to achieve a leadership position amongst peer banks by gaining recognition from customers, stakeholders and the market in general as evidenced through industry awards, market polls and ratings
  • Engage with all stakeholders and keep abreast of market developments
  • Ensure documents/transactions are processed, checked and approved properly in line with Functional Instruction Manual (FIM) and Foreign Exchange guidelines/Bangladesh Bank Circular
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group compliance policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimise the likelihood of it occurring
  • Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC internal control standards including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators

Additional Job Requirements
  • To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Minimum seven years of experience in banking operations particularly in Trade
  • Knowledge on Trade related guidelines and policies required
  • Strong sales, interpersonal, communications, negotiation and analytical skills
