- IT Operations manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical for HSBC employees and customers, such as cost-efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases, data centres, voice and data networks, ATMs, desktops and other devices. It employs around 8,500 employees globally and comprises five functions: Client Services, Enterprise Services and Architecture, Data Centre and Service Management, Relationship Management, Project Management and PMO, and Risk and Administration. Collectively, these areas define and deliver HSBC's technology strategy to support the Group’s goals.
- In this role, you will:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics of IT infrastructure (Server, Desktop, Laptop, ATM, Network etc.)
- Provide first and second level of support for all Branches/ Offices/ ATMs/ Business Development Offices (EPZ - Export Processing Zone offices)
- Manage assigned projects and programs components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
- Respond to inquiries from staff to provide technical assistance and support
- Work as the administrator of the systems to ensure availability of service
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware, software application, telephone, desktop, laptop etc. and resolve operational issues and restore services
- Maintain effective communication with business and understand business requirements for proactive business partnership and better performance
- Maintain strong relationship with vendor to effective support and proper backup arrangement in place to reduce service impact

- Graduation from a reputed university preferably from IT background
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 3 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
- To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Sound knowledge on IT (Information Technology)
- Two/three years of relevant professional experiences
- Good communication skill in English is mandatory
- Skill in data analysis and problem solving
- Positive attitude, dynamic, energetic and proactive
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal customers
