  • In this role, you will:
  • Develop superior product features and participate in the development of complex cash management solutions to meet customer`s PCM needs/demand
  • Develop/maintain product approval program covering all aspects of the product including legal, tax, credit, risks, accounting, regulations, etc. for reviewed and signed-off by the various functional departments within the bank
  • Be responsible for the profitability of the assigned products and services by taking ownership of the products and having a clear understanding of the functions and responsibilities in achieving product profitability
  • Contribute to the development, formulation and growth of the PCM business in the region
  • Be responsible for developing and managing the products assigned to ensure that the products meet the market needs and contribute towards the overall PCM objectives
  • Develop and execute product plans covering market segmentation, product positioning, competitive analysis, sales strategy, pricing strategy and product development/enhancement plan
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring

Additional Job Requirements
  • To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience in product development
  • Sound knowledge and skills in cash management, project management, products/propositions, local market regulations, customer and stakeholder relationship management and leadership
  • In-depth knowledge of local clearing and payments framework and ongoing automation/financial inclusion initiatives of central bank
  • Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and across functions
